Return to Mobility This paper addresses the problem of developing Workflow Management Systems in wireless communication environments, where connections are unstable and non-permanent. In such an environment, users should be able to perform tasks independently from location and type of connection. The proposed model aims at meeting these requirements through task reservation and anticipated transfer of data and applications to the mobile computer, increasing its autonomy.
