Return to Advanced Models and Languages/Architectures for Data Analysis (Session D3) This paper presents initial research into a framework (specification and execution model) for inference, prediction, and decision making with uncertain events in active systems. This work is motivated by the observation that in many cases, there is a gap between the reported events that are used as a direct input to an active system, and the actual events upon which an active system must act.
