This talk will discuss what changes must take place in web services in the next three years in order for web services to live up to their potential. It will discuss some hard problems that have to be solved and others that industry is in the process of solving. It will discuss how web services will lead to a pervasive change from pull to push computing and why. Finally it will discuss the challenges web services are already putting on traditional databases.
